Hulk Hogan says he used pen to free girl from overturned car

Former WWE superstar Hulk Hogan recently made headlines for his heroic actions when he helped save a teenager’s life after her car flipped on the highway. The incident occurred on the Veterans Expressway in Clearwater, Florida, when the teenager’s car was clipped by another vehicle, causing it to overturn.

Hogan, accompanied by his wife Sky Daily and friend Jake Rask, happened to be among the first responders at the scene. According to TMZ, Rask and Hogan had to pop the airbags of the car to safely rescue the trapped teenager. In a social media post, Hogan mentioned using a ballpoint pen to assist in the rescue.

The incident was shared by Daily on Facebook, where she expressed admiration for her husband and Rask’s quick actions. She mentioned that the teenager appeared to be unharmed but understandably shaken after the accident.

Hogan, known for his successful career as a professional wrestler, has achieved numerous accolades, including being a six-time WWE champion and a two-time inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. Following his wrestling career, Hogan also found success as an actor.

In 2013, Hogan made headlines for a different reason when he sued Gawker Media, the former owner of Deadspin, over the publication of a sex tape involving him and his friend’s wife. Hogan claimed that he was unaware he was being filmed during the encounter and that the video’s release had left him humiliated. The jury ruled in his favor, awarding him $140 million in damages. However, Hogan eventually settled for $31 million, and Gawker filed for bankruptcy shortly after.

Despite the controversy surrounding him, Hogan’s recent act of bravery reminds us that heroes can be found in unexpected places. His quick thinking and willingness to help in a dangerous situation undoubtedly made a significant impact on the teenager’s life and serves as a reminder that anyone can make a difference when it matters most.
