‘Supernatural’ Star Mark Sheppard Leaves Hospital After Near-Death Health Scare

Supernatural star Mark Sheppard has been released from the hospital after suffering six heart attacks and miraculously avoiding death. The 59-year-old actor was seen leaving a Los Angeles-area hospital on Thursday, wearing a big smile and giving hugs to the hospital staff.

Mark still had some post-op drains connected, which are commonly used to drain excess blood and fluid after surgery. This is a small and temporary price to pay for the terrifying ordeal he faced less than a week ago.

As previously reported, Mark claimed to have suffered a series of “massive heart attacks” after collapsing in his kitchen. EMTs were able to bring him back to life four times. It was later discovered that Mark had a total blockage in his left anterior descending artery, also known as a LAD.

Mark credited his wife and the St. Joseph’s team for his survival. Judging by his massive grin, it seems that he has a new outlook on life.
