Migrant Boat Reportedly Washed Ashore Near Barbra Streisand’s Malibu Home

The beachy backyard of Barbra Streisand’s Malibu home recently made headlines as it reportedly became the landing spot for a migrant boat that drifted ashore. Shocking footage obtained by FOX News’ Bill Melugin shows a panga boat washing ashore on Tuesday afternoon off the coast of Malibu with suspected illegal migrants on board.

The surveillance video captured the incident in broad daylight, around 1 PM. As soon as the boat landed, several individuals can be seen hopping out and scurrying along the beach. It is still unknown if any of them have been captured and detained by authorities.

Just a day later, reports of another panga boat surfaced off the coast of Malibu. However, this boat sunk and no individuals were found. Only debris and life jackets were recovered, according to local Los Angeles media.

The New York Post claims that the boat that drifted in from the sea did so just below Streisand’s Malibu compound. Although there is no official sourcing cited, it is stated that Streisand owns three adjacent properties in the area that border a cliff overlooking the ocean below. If true, this could be a concerning scenario, especially if the migrants are still on the loose.

Other celebrities who reside in Malibu, such as Lady Gaga, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, and Leonardo DiCaprio, could also potentially be affected by incidents like these. Malibu is known as a sanctuary city, and some speculate that this may be why the boat arrived there instead of Los Angeles, which is not yet officially a sanctuary city.

This incident highlights that the situation at the Southern border extends beyond the border itself. People are finding alternative ways to enter the country, and even Hollywood’s elite may have to deal with the consequences. It is unclear if Streisand’s property being involved in this incident will have any impact on the ongoing immigration debate.

Efforts have been made to reach out to Streisand for comment, but no response has been received so far.
