Marjorie Taylor Greene Blames ‘Communist Democrats’ After Florida Resort Cancels Book Signing: ‘They Lost’

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Controversial Book Signing Rescheduled Despite Opposition

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, has faced backlash and opposition to her upcoming book signing event. The event, which was originally scheduled to take place on the third anniversary of the January 6th Capitol attack, had its venue cancelled by Westgate Resorts in Kissimmee, Florida. However, despite attempts by what she referred to as “communist Democrats” to shut it down, Greene has confirmed that the event will proceed at an alternative location.

The sudden cancellation of the book signing by Westgate Resorts came after they were made aware of the purpose of the event, which commemorates the January 6th incident. In a statement, Westgate Resorts clarified that they were not aware of the nature of the event when they agreed to host it and decided to cancel it as a result.

Greene, known for her staunch support of former President Donald Trump, has faced criticism for her participation in events marking the anniversary of the January 6th attack. Florida state Democratic representative Anna Eskamani publicly criticized Greene for her planned appearance at an event commemorating the attack’s third anniversary.

Despite the opposition and criticism, Greene remains determined to proceed with the book signing. She believes that “communist Democrats” were responsible for her being ousted from the initial venue. However, she has not disclosed the new location for the event.

Greene’s book, released in November, is a tell-all autobiography detailing her journey to becoming one of the nation’s most prominent far-right lawmakers and a strong proponent of Trump. In an interview with the Washington Examiner, she stated that the book aims to present her side of the story.

The rescheduling of Greene’s book signing highlights the ongoing controversies and divisions surrounding her and her involvement in events related to the January 6th Capitol attack. While she remains a polarizing figure, her supporters continue to rally behind her, while her critics condemn her actions and affiliations.

As the event proceeds at an alternative location, it will undoubtedly attract attention and further fuel the ongoing debates surrounding Greene and her controversial political career.
