Bucks players are already starting to turn on Doc Rivers

The Milwaukee Bucks are experiencing some early struggles under their new head coach, Doc Rivers. After a coaching change midseason, the team was hoping for a fresh start and some positive momentum. However, it seems that things have taken a turn for the worse.

Players are already feeling exhausted due to intense practice sessions, causing their performance in games to suffer. This is not a good sign for a team that has aspirations of making a deep playoff run. It’s clear that this coaching change has been a disaster and the team is “doomed to fail.”

One of the main criticisms of Rivers is his tendency to push players too hard during practice. This has been a known issue throughout his coaching career, with many blaming him for the rapid decline of players like Derrick Rose. In today’s NBA, where load management is a hot topic, players don’t want to be practicing like maniacs on their days off. There needs to be a balance between hard work and rest.

Despite these early struggles, the Bucks are still a top-three team in the East. However, if they can’t clean up their issues and improve their defensive effort, they may struggle in the playoffs. Last postseason, they were quickly eliminated by the Miami Heat in the first round. If they want to go deep in the playoffs this year, they need to make some significant improvements.

It’s surprising that Rivers continues to get hired for top-tier head coaching positions in the NBA, despite his track record of losing 3-1 leads in the playoffs. It seems that team owners are falling for his apparent wit and charm. Perhaps it’s because he won Coach of the Year in his first season as a head coach with the Orlando Magic. But without that championship he won in Boston, it’s unclear where Rivers would be today.

In the end, it’s clear that the Bucks are facing some challenges under their new head coach. Whether they can overcome these obstacles and find success remains to be seen. But for now, it’s clear that this coaching change has been a disappointment.
