The Tourism Industries of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah have reached record-breaking heights, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council’s latest report. The report highlights the significant growth and success of the tourism sectors in these Emirates, showcasing their importance as key players in the global travel industry.

Dubai, known for its luxurious shopping, futuristic architecture, and vibrant nightlife, has long been a top destination for tourists from around the world. The city has seen a steady increase in visitor numbers over the years, with the WTTC report showing that Dubai’s tourism industry contributed a staggering 11.5% to its GDP in 2019. This growth is largely attributed to the city’s relentless efforts to attract visitors through events such as the Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Food Festival, and Expo 2020, which is set to take place later this year.

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, has also seen a surge in tourism, with the WTTC report revealing that the tourism industry contributed 6.5% to the city’s GDP in 2019. The city has positioned itself as a cultural hub, with attractions such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque drawing in millions of visitors each year. Additionally, Abu Dhabi has invested heavily in infrastructure and hospitality, with plans for new hotels, resorts, and entertainment venues in the pipeline.

Ras Al Khaimah, the northernmost Emirate, has also made a name for itself as a top tourist destination. The WTTC report shows that the tourism industry contributed 6.2% to Ras Al Khaimah’s GDP in 2019, highlighting the city’s rapid growth in recent years. Ras Al Khaimah is known for its stunning landscapes, including the Hajar Mountains and the sandy beaches along the Arabian Gulf. The city has also invested in tourism infrastructure, with new hotels, resorts, and attractions opening up to cater to the growing number of visitors.

The WTTC report’s findings are a testament to the success and potential of the tourism industries in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah.
