UConn head coach Geno Auriemma recently made history by passing Mike Krzyzewski for second place on the all-time wins list for NCAA Division I basketball coaches. Auriemma, who has been at the helm of the UConn women’s basketball program since 1985, has built a powerhouse program that has dominated the college basketball landscape for decades.

In addition to Auriemma, Krzyzewski, and VanDerveer, there are several other legendary coaches who have left their mark on the NCAA Division I basketball landscape. Coaches like Pat Summitt, Jim Boeheim, and Roy Williams have all had incredibly successful careers and have cemented their legacies as some of the greatest coaches in the history of the sport.
