It’s that time of the week again, folks! Taylor Swift is ready to cheer on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in what could potentially be her last game of the season. The pop star was spotted at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, all geared up to take on the Ravens on Sunday. However, she opted for a more toned-down look compared to her previous appearances.
Swift was seen wearing a bright red shirt, but she covered it up with a long black coat. It seems like she’s twinning with her better half, as Travis Kelce looked fierce in a matching coat and black beanie. His entire ensemble was black, giving him the appearance of a real bad dude. The Chiefs’ X account even played into the joke, captioning a video of Travis with “Knew he was a Killa first time that we saw him,” referencing Taylor’s first line in her song “…Ready For It?”
By Swift’s side was her best gameday gal pal, Brittany Mahomes, who also stuck with the toned-down colors theme by wearing a black and white leather-looking coat with her husband Patrick’s number stitched into the lapel. Travis’ big brother, Jason, and his wife Kylie were also reportedly attending the game, although they hadn’t been spotted yet.
This game is the most significant of the season for the Kansas City Chiefs, as they are just one win away from the Super Bowl. However, the best team in the AFC stands in their way. Moreover, this may be the last time the team benefits from the “Taylor Magic.” If they lose, there won’t be any more Chiefs games for Swift this season. Even if they win, it might be challenging for Taylor to make it to the Super Bowl.
The big game is scheduled for Sunday, February 11, which happens to be the same weekend that Taylor Swift heads back on tour. She has shows in Tokyo from February 7-10, leaving her with approximately 36 hours to fly from Tokyo to Vegas for the game. Although Swift has her own private jet, it still seems like a lot to manage. Additionally, she previously missed a couple of Kelce’s games in November when she was working on her own career in South America.
This may mark the end of another Taylor Era, or maybe not! Travis Kelce just made an incredible touchdown catch, keeping the Chiefs’ Super Bowl hopes alive and well. We will have to wait and see if Swift can make the commute work and continue to support her favorite football team.
