A Pennsylvania man met a tragic end due to his loud snoring, which irritated his neighbor to the point of violence. The incident occurred in Upper Moreland Township, where Christopher Casey’s noisy sleep habits allegedly drove his neighbor, Robert Wallace, to stab him.
The bizarre series of events unfolded last Sunday evening when police received a 911 call from Casey reporting a stabbing. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Wallace approximately 50 feet away from Casey’s house with two knife wounds. Casey himself had also been stabbed in the right thigh. Blood was found both inside and outside the residence.
Both men were rushed to a local hospital, but sadly, Wallace did not survive his injuries. Casey, on the other hand, received treatment for his non-life-threatening wounds.
Investigators pieced together the events leading up to the altercation. It was determined that Wallace had gone to Casey’s home that night and approached the porch to detach a screen from one of the windows. This action seemingly alerted Casey, who then confronted Wallace, leading to a heated argument.
During the verbal altercation, Casey allegedly produced a military-style knife and stabbed Wallace twice. The exact circumstances surrounding Casey’s own injury remain unclear. However, the authorities recovered the knife at the crime scene.
