Marvel Crew Member Falls to His Death at Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles


A crew member tragically fell to their death at a well-known movie studio in Los Angeles while preparing for a show for Marvel. The incident occurred at the Radford Studio Center in Studio City, CA. Law enforcement sources report that first responders were dispatched to the scene in response to an apparent accident on a set.

Paramedics arrived at sound stage 3 on the lot and discovered a middle-aged man who was pronounced dead at the scene. It is believed that the man fell from the rafters area in the sound stage and the incident occurred early in the morning.

According to Deadline, the incident took place during the preparation for Marvel’s upcoming TV show, “Wonder Man,” which is set to star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The show, developed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is scheduled to go into production next month and will be released on Disney+. Marvel expressed their condolences, stating, “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident.”

The deceased crew member was a rigger, responsible for setting up lights on the set. While no foul play is suspected at this point, the incident has triggered a federal probe. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is now investigating the accident.
