Lil Nas X Not Attending Christian Liberty University Despite Claim He Is

Lil Nas X’s recent claim of being accepted to a Christian college has turned out to be a fabrication, according to the institution itself. Liberty University, a prominent Christian higher education institution, has denied ever issuing an acceptance letter to the rapper. A spokesperson for the university stated, “We can confirm that Liberty University did not issue the Montero Hill ‘acceptance letter’ posted yesterday to social media, and we have no record of Montero Hill applying to the University.”

This revelation comes as Lil Nas X has been attempting to distance himself from the image of a devil-worshipping artist, as portrayed in Dave Chappelle’s recent Netflix special. In an effort to promote his new song, “J Christ,” Lil Nas X posted the phony acceptance letter as part of his new song rollout.

Many people quickly noticed that the letter was edited and outdated, as it featured the signature of a former US President who passed away years ago. Despite the obvious signs of forgery, Liberty University has officially debunked the claim and extended their prayers to Lil Nas X. The spokesperson added, “We welcome all to apply and join us at Liberty University.”

This latest stunt is just one of the many attention-grabbing tactics Lil Nas X has employed in his recent promotional efforts. In an attempt to shed his previous controversial image, particularly associated with his song “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” the rapper is now presenting himself as more pious and religious.

In a teaser for the “J Christ” music video, Lil Nas X features celebrity lookalikes heading towards the gates of heaven. These actors were previously seen in a photoshoot a few months ago, and it is now clear that it was for the upcoming music video. The rapper is clearly aiming to take his fans on a divine journey with this new project.

While Lil Nas X may not be attending a Christian college anytime soon, he seems eager to explore religious themes in his music and visuals. The upcoming “J Christ” music video is expected to contain deeper meanings, although fans will have to wait until Friday to fully understand its message.

As Lil Nas X continues to reinvent his image and push boundaries, it remains to be seen how his fans and the wider public will respond to his ongoing artistic evolution.
