Cara Delevingne’s Los Angeles-area home was engulfed in flames in the early hours of Friday morning, requiring a massive response from the fire department to extinguish the blaze. The model’s luxurious property in Studio City suffered significant damage, with firefighters working for hours to contain the fire.
Law enforcement sources reported that a 911 call for a fire came in around 3:57 AM, with fire crews discovering that a backroom on the property had caught on fire. The cause of the blaze is still unknown, but it quickly spread to the attic and even caused a part of the roof to collapse. The firefighters faced challenges in putting out the fire, with one firefighter falling off a ladder and sustaining injuries, and an occupant of the home being treated for smoke inhalation.
Cara Delevingne was not present at the time of the fire, as she is currently in England for work. The supermodel’s home, which was featured in an Architectural Digest spread in 2021, is a stunning 4-bed, 6-bath property spanning over 8,000 sq. feet. Originally built in 1941 for the Von der Ahes family, the founders of the Vons supermarket chain, the house boasts a rich history and is equipped with all the luxurious amenities expected in Los Angeles.
The fire at Cara Delevingne’s home required a massive response from the fire department, with 94 firefighters and 13 engines on the scene. Four ambulances were also dispatched to the property to assist with any injuries. The extent of the damage to the property is still being assessed, and Cara’s camp has not yet released a statement on the incident.
This unfortunate event serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of disasters, even in the most luxurious of homes. We can only hope for a swift recovery and restoration of Cara Delevingne’s beloved property in Studio City.
