Caitlyn Jenner recently made headlines when she appeared to plead for Elon Musk’s legal backing to fight Disney after being dropped from “The Kardashians.” However, it has now been revealed that Jenner is not actually pursuing legal action against the entertainment giant.
Sources with direct knowledge have informed TMZ that Caitlyn Jenner has zero plans to sue Disney and was simply shedding light on her experience with the studio by commenting under Elon Musk’s original post. Musk had explicitly stated that he would provide legal support, including funding, to those who felt they had been discriminated against by Disney or its subsidiaries.
Jenner’s comment under Musk’s post read, “Hulu (Disney subsidiary) never put me on my family’s show – I had been on since day 1- when it switched from E!” At first glance, it seemed like she was serious about pursuing legal action, especially since Musk appeared to be genuinely interested in supporting her.
However, sources have clarified that Jenner has no plans to take Musk up on his offer to sue Disney at this time. But if any bombshell information arises from the Kardashians’ reality show on Hulu that negatively impacts Jenner, she may reconsider the idea.
Caitlyn Jenner was a prominent figure in almost all 20 seasons of E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” alongside her ex-wife Kris Jenner, stepchildren Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian, and biological daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. However, she did not appear in the revamped series, “The Kardashians,” when it moved over to Hulu in 2022.
Last month, Jenner expressed frustration over not being included in the Disney-owned network when she replied to a post from political consultant Richard Grenell, who criticized the network for its “partisan” stance. Jenner commented, “I wonder if that’s why they fired me from my family’s reality show when it switched over to Hulu (@Disney), from E!. I must not be woke enough.”
This conversation surrounding Jenner and Disney has gained attention due to Elon Musk’s involvement. Musk is currently funding former “Mandalorian” actress Gina Carano’s lawsuit against Disney+ and LucasFilm. Carano claims that she was wrongfully terminated from her job after expressing her political views on social media. Musk’s support for Carano has sparked interest in his potential involvement in other cases against Disney.
Despite her disappointment with “The Kardashians,” Jenner has found new opportunities in her career. She has joined FOX as a news contributor and is enjoying her role at the network.
For now, it seems that there are no immediate plans for Caitlyn Jenner to pursue legal action against Disney. However, as the situation develops, it remains to be seen whether any new information or developments may change her stance.
