ATP roundup: Thiago Monteiro upsets Casper Ruud in Sweden

Meanwhile, in the Infosys Hall of Fame Open in Newport, R.I., American Reilly Opelka delivered a standout performance by firing 19 aces and recording more winners in his upset victory over top seed Adrian Mannarino of France. Opelka’s powerful serve and aggressive playstyle proved to be too much for Mannarino to handle, showcasing the American’s potential in the tournament.
