ATP roundup: Seeded players start to fall in Atlanta

Other winners in the tournament included No. 7 seed Roberto Carballes Baena of Spain, Argentina’s Thiago Agustin Tirante, and Italian Matteo Berrettini.

In Croatia, at the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, top seed Andrey Rublev of Russia advanced to the quarterfinals with a solid win over Argentina’s Camilo Ugo Carabelli. Rublev showcased his skills and composure to overcome his opponent and secure a spot in the next round. Hungarian Fabian Marozsan also impressed with a victory over Brazilian Thiago Monteiro, setting up an exciting quarterfinal matchup with Rublev.
