Logan Paul Says Jake Paul’s Had 24-Hour Security Since Mayweather ‘Kill You’ Threat

It’s been nearly three years since Floyd Mayweather threatened to “kill” Jake Paul, but the incident still weighs heavily on the younger Paul’s mind. In a recent interview with Graham Bensinger, Logan Paul revealed that his little brother is still taking Mayweather’s words seriously, going as far as to employ 24-hour security to ensure his safety.

The infamous altercation between Mayweather and Jake Paul occurred in Miami back in 2021, following their now-famous “gotcha hat” encounter. Mayweather was caught on camera shouting, “I’ll kill you motherf***er” at Jake, sparking fear and concern for the Paul brothers. Logan explained to TMZ Sports that they were genuinely worried Mayweather might follow through on his threat.

According to Logan, Jake has not been without a security guard since the incident, with his main concern being Mayweather’s connections in Miami. Logan claimed that Mayweather has “goons who kill a man for $200,” adding to the sense of unease surrounding the situation.

The tension between Mayweather and the Paul brothers seemed to have simmered down until 2023 when they crossed paths at a Miami Heat game. Mayweather confronted Jake outside the arena, prompting the social media star to seek protection from law enforcement once again.

Despite the ongoing security measures and occasional run-ins with Mayweather, Logan remains confident in his abilities. He revealed that Mayweather offered him a rematch of their 2021 bout in 2022, but he felt unprepared and declined. However, if they were to step into the ring again, Logan believes he would come out victorious, boldly stating, “I think I’d beat him.”

The ongoing saga between the Paul brothers and Floyd Mayweather continues to captivate fans and critics alike. While the threat of violence looms in the background, Jake Paul remains vigilant in ensuring his safety, unwilling to take any chances when it comes to his well-being. As for the possibility of a rematch between Mayweather and Logan Paul, only time will tell if their paths will cross once again in the ring.
