‘Tan Mom’ Patricia Krentcil Drops Out of U.S. Senate Race

After a brief and somewhat bizarre foray into the world of politics, Tan Mom, also known as Patricia Krentcil, has announced that she is dropping out of the race for a U.S. Senate seat in Florida. The decision comes as a surprise to many, especially considering the fact that she seemed so passionate about running for office just a few months ago.

In a strange twist of fate, it was Wendy Williams who played a role in Tan Mom’s decision to bow out of the race. Tan Mom says that after watching the new Wendy documentary and comparing it to her own reality series, “Tan to 10,” she realized that she could end up like Wendy if she continued with all the pressure that comes along with a political run for office. Wendy Williams has openly struggled with alcohol abuse and a myriad of other health issues, making Tan Mom rethink her own path.

Another factor that contributed to Tan Mom’s decision was the mass layoffs at struggling and bankrupt Vice Media. Tan Mom says she was filming a documentary about her campaign for Vice, but the media company pulled the plug and has not paid her or her team a dime, despite a contract she says she signed with Vice. This setback greatly hurt her campaign and left her feeling disillusioned with the whole process.

In addition to these challenges, Tan Mom also took time off the campaign trail in November to undergo a risky medical procedure – bypass surgery to remove a stent separating her pancreas and liver. Despite her health issues and the setbacks she faced along the way, Tan Mom says she is proud of all the work she did on her campaign, such as hosting a Town Hall at Hamburger Mary’s supporting the LGBTQ community.

So, what’s next for Tan Mom? She will be attending the April premiere of a new documentary about Florida’s drag ban called “A Seance With the Queens.” Although she may be off the campaign trail, it seems that Tan Mom is determined to stay involved and continue fighting for the causes she cares about.

In the end, it seems that Tan Mom’s brief stint in politics was an eye-opening experience for her. While she may not have achieved her goal of running for Senate, she has certainly left her mark on the political landscape – and it seems that she is not done making her voice heard just yet.
